Every Soul Soothing bowl is hand-made in the traditional way by skilled local craftsmen – there are no wholesalers or mass production.

Every bowl is individually checked for sound quality and resonance before they are shipped, many bowls are rejected and only the very best are chosen.
Decorated by hand
The beautiful designs on some Soul Soothing Bowls are intricately hand-etched and hand-painted in the traditional way - no transfers or machines are used.
** Modern bowls are made of bronze and are highly unlikely to contain 7 metals.
Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin.
Metals such as iron (considered one of the 7 ) will not melt at the temperatures used in forging singing bowls and is therefore unlikely to be present. Mercury and lead (two of the other 7 metals sometimes quoted) are poisonous and very unlikely to be present. Gold and silver are precious metals which are unlikely to be present in any quantity unless you are being charged a significantly higher retail price.
